This plan shows the influence of the 1811 grid at the scale of the block subdivision. Although Manhattan real estate was his core business, Anthony Bleecker also auctioned land outside the city center. This subdivision of a Queens neighborhood repeated two elements of the Manhattan grid: most lots are 25 by 100 feet, and the blocks are 200 feet wide.
